GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: Distribution Requirement Check List
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The online DR Checklist is designed for students who matriculated at Hunter College between Fall 1986 and Spring 2001.

Use the interactive DR Checklist to track your academic progress. You can print a copy of the completed checklist, or you can download a copy of the DR Worksheet (PDF) to perform the check manually. Bring your completed copy to your next meeting with an advisor/counselor in the Office of Student Services, 1119 East Building.

  • If you transferred from a college within The City University of New York (CUNY) system or from a non-CUNY college, you may be able to use your accepted courses to satisfy some of the DR.
  • If you are pursuing a major leading to the Bachelor of Science degree, you should consult an Academic Advisor in the Office of Student Services, 1119 East Building.

Download the DR Rules and Courses (PDF) and the DR Checklist for details, and the FAQs (frequently asked questions) for answers to general questions.

If you matriculated in Fall 2001 or thereafter, you are responsible for the General Education Requirement (GER). If you matriculated prior to Fall 1986, you should meet with an Advisor in the Office of Student Sevices, 1119 East Building.
