POLICIES: Course Repeat Rule
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

If you earn a failing grade (F, WU, or FIN) in a course and then retake the course in a subsequent semester, earning a grade of A, B, C, or CR, both grades will remain on the transcript. However, the failing grade will no longer be calculated in your Hunter GPA. However, you must file a Failing Grade Course Repeat form at the Office of Adminstrative and Information Services (OASIS).

No more than 16 CUNY credits may be deleted from the calculation of the GPA. The repeated course must be taken at the same college as the failed course.

For more information about course repeats, visit the Registrar on-line, or consult the Hunter College Undergraduate Catalog.
