Career Fairs

We offer two Career Fairs each year. Hunter College offers a Fall and Spring Career Expo held from 1:00-3:00. Over 300 students normally attend each fair.

• Registration for our Fall Career Fair begins in August.
• Registration for our Spring Career Fair begins in January.

On-Campus Recruitment
Every semester we offer employers and recruiters the opportunity to recruit and interview Hunter students right on our campus. To participate in this program send us company information including contact name, address, telephone, fax, email, position(s) you would like to interview for, major(s) you are recruiting and date(s) and time frame that you would like to have the interviews take place. We will advertise and collect résumés by a deadline date. Once the résumés are collected, they will be sent to you for review. You choose the students that you would like to interview, let us know and we will schedule them for a designated interview time, therefore making the process a lot easier for you.

Information Sessions and Tabling Events
If you would like to hold an information session or a tabling at our campus, send us your company information including contact name, address, telephone, fax, email, position(s) you are recruiting for, major(s) you are interested in and the day and time you would like to visit our campus. We will schedule you and contact you for confirmation.

Please note that there is no fee to participate in these programs.

What is Career Development Services?
Career Development Services works closely with students and employers to meet the increasing demands for qualified employees. We prepare our students as professionals and we welcome you to join with us to meet your recruitment needs.

How can we post a job or internship at Hunter?
If you have a job or internship position available, log on and create your profile on our online recruitment system. We invite you to post your full-time, part-time, temporary and internship positions with us on the internet. The position will go into our database which students and our staff will be able to access. This method will be the quickest and most efficient procedure to reach our students and staff.

How can we recruit on campus?
We invite you to participate in on campus recruiting to meet your hiring needs. To request a date for a presentation or information session, FAX information about your company and the positions you are recruiting for and we will get back to you. Once a date has been scheduled we will work with you to publicize your visit.

Are there any other ways to recruit Hunter students?
You may arrange to interview students here on campus or at your site.
