New Financial Opportunity (Grant $) for Students Applying for Optional Practical Training (OPT) during Spring 2008

The International Students Office is pleased to announce a new application grant for eligible International F-1 students who have applied or plan to apply for Optional Practical Training.  Please visit the International Students Office, located in Room 1109 Hunter East, until the week beginning on May 12th, 2008 for more details on how students may apply for this one time ($340) application grant.  Interested students should have a cumulative average of 3.0 or better at the time of application (either graduate or undergraduate) and must write a statement about how they plan to contribute to the national and global economies upon completion of their studies. In addition, interested students must attend an employment workshop with an executive career coach for international students planned for either Mid-May or Mid-September, 2008.  Look out for more details on the International Students Office website:
