Our talented and diverse staff is dedicated to ensuring the residence life hall runs smoothly and safely. The Office of Residence Life, located in Room 117 on the first floor of the North Building, Brookdale, is open daily to assist students who have questions or concerns about the residence life program. The office has limited evening office hours for students’ convenience. A member of the professional staff is always on call in case of emergencies.  In case of an emergency, students should contact Campus Security, who will in turn contact the residence life staff.

Resident Assistants
Your Resident Assistants one of the most valuable resources at Hunter College. Resident Assistants—or RAs— are academically successful students who have been selected for their leadership abilities, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and sense of commitment to the residence hall community.

Assistant Resident Assistants
Along with Resident Assistants (ARA), each floor is also staffed with a Assistant Resident Assistant.  The ARA helps with student issues and programming within the community.

Regular Business Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Office Residence Life is open in the evenings, Monday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. During the summer term the evening hours change to 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
