WELCOME TO WELLNESS EDUCATION

Wellness
Education programs and services strive to reduce health related
barriers to students’ personal and academic success through activities
in general health education, disease prevention and intervention. There
are two main components: the Office of Health Services, providing
health care delivery, and Health Education, providing information and
resources.
We are very excited about our returning programs and a new program that we are initiating "The Nap Zone." This program will allow for students to take a 20 minute nap on a cot in 1214 E. We only ask that you bring your own blanket! We know college students don't get enough sleep and we know naps have been shown to increase productivity so this is our way of helping students become more successful. The program will begin on Wednesday September 10th and runs from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
Wellness Education is a program within the Hunter College Division of Student Affairs.
